We're looking for a Software Developer II to join our Payments Development team. In this role, you'll leverage your server-side JavaScript and Node.js skills to build and maintain robust payment solutions. We're seeking someone with a strong troubleshooting mindset, exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively across various teams, and a desire to create seamless, reliable payment experiences for our users. 
This is a hybrid position based in Las Vegas, NV.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Design, develop, and modify quality software applications by applying fundamental computer science techniques, as assigned.
  • Follow architectural guidelines set by technical leadership and may investigate industry best practices and innovations when developing products.
  • Communicate progress to leadership, escalate concerns, and anticipate roadblocks.
  • Responsible for on-time deliveries as set by management.
  • Participate in code validation, code reviews, and documentation of written code.
  • May assist in creating shareable solutions improving product capability, quality, and efficiency.
  • Participate in risk evaluations associated with code changes, as needed.

Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise for the job:

Qualifications 
  • 2-4 years of experience coding with JavaScript and Node.js technologies
  • 2-4 years of containerization experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve software issues.
  • 2-4 years of software testing experience.
  • Working knowledge of MSSQL.

Nice to have's: 
  • Experience using Jest and/or Mocha.
  • Casino Gaming experience.
  • Payment processing software experience.
